Product Description
Five-twisted gabion is a kind of mesh structure product woven by steel wire through five-twisted process.
It is usually used in engineering fields such as slope protection, river training, bank slope reinforcement and so on. Its features include:
1. high strength: the connection between the steel wires is made tighter by the five-twisting process, which improves the strength and stability of the whole mesh.
2. good flexibility: with a certain degree of flexibility, it can adapt to different terrain and environmental changes, and is not easy to rupture.
3. Corrosion-resistant: generally galvanized and other anti-corrosion treatment, can be used in harsh environments for a long time, not easy to rust and corrosion.
4. water permeability: the mesh has a certain degree of water permeability, which is conducive to the circulation of water and plant growth, but also to prevent soil loss.
In engineering applications, the five twisted gabion mesh can be filled with stones and other stones in the mesh, forming a solid overall structure, and play a role in protecting slopes, rivers and so on.
Material of five twisted gabion mesh
1、 Galvanized steel wire:
High-quality low carbon steel wire, the diameter of the wire 2.0MM-4.0MM, the tensile strength of the wire is not less than 380Mpa, the surface of the wire is protected by hot-dip galvanizing, the thickness of the galvanized protective layer is made according to customer requirements, and the amount of galvanization can reach 300g/m2.
2、 Zinc-5% aluminum-mixed rare earth alloy steel wire: (also called Golfan) steel wire.
Corrosion resistance is more than 3 times of the traditional pure galvanized, the diameter of the steel wire can be up to 1.0MM-3.0MM, the tensile strength of the steel wire is not less than 1380Mpa.
3、 Galvanized steel wire wrap:
High-quality low carbon steel wire, the surface of the steel wire wrapped in a layer of PVC protective layer, and then woven into a variety of specifications of the hexagonal mesh.
4、 Zinc-5% aluminum-mixed rare earth alloy steel wire cladding:
The surface of zinc-5% aluminum-mixed rare earth alloy steel wire is wrapped with a protective layer of PVC, and then woven into various specifications of hexagonal wire mesh.
Weaving of five-twisted lead wire gabions
Five-twisted lead wire gabions are produced by one-time molding, except for the cover plate, the side plate, end plate, and the bottom plate can not be separated from each other.
Length/width tolerance (±5%), height tolerance (±10%), and the internal partitions are used every 1 meter to separate into independent units.
Reinforced gabion box is assembled with cover plate, side plate, end plate and bottom plate individually assembled into a box, and each part is twisted and bound with spiral steel wire, and all the side wires of the box are made of thick wires to strengthen the gabion mesh.
Production process
The gabion mesh is made of hexagonal twisting process: raw material selection - cold drawn/galvanized/plasticized - machine weaving - manual cutting, assembly - product inspection - packaging and transportation. -Product inspection - Packaging and transportation
Characteristics
(1) Economical, only need to fill the stone into the cage to seal it.
(2) Easy construction, no special techniques required.
(3) Strong ability to resist natural damage and resistance to corrosion and harsh weather effects.
(4)It can withstand a wide range of deformation and still not collapse.
(5) The silt between the cracks of the cage stones is favorable for plant production and can be fused with the surrounding natural environment.
(6) Good permeability prevents damage caused by hydrostatic forces.
(7) Saving transportation costs. It can be folded up for transportation and assembled on the construction site.
