Introduction

Glass fiber geogrid is a mesh structure material made mainly of glass fiber alkali free and twisted coarse yarn, using a certain weaving process. In order to protect the glass fiber and improve the overall performance, a special coating treatment process is used to form a new and excellent geotechnical substrate

Main functions

1.Enhancing soil stability: Glass fiber geogrids can enhance soil stability by providing strong tensile strength. It can prevent soil collapse and landslides, forming a stable structure in the soil.

2.Distributed load: Fiberglass geogrids can disperse the load onto a larger soil area, thereby reducing the pressure on the soil. This is very important for reducing soil settlement and deformation.

3.Preventing soil erosion: Glass fiber geogrids can prevent erosion of the soil surface. It can provide a physical barrier to prevent erosion of the soil by flowing water, wind, and other external forces.

4.Improve the durability of soil: glass fiber geogrid has durability and anti-aging characteristics, which can extend the service life of soil. It can prevent soil degradation and deformation under long-term use and external forces.

Characteristic
(1) High tensile strength and low elongation - Fiberglass geogrids are made from fiberglass and have high resistance to deformation, with a fracture elongation of less than 3%.
(2) No long-term creep - as a reinforcing material, it is extremely important to have the ability to resist deformation under long-term loads, that is, creep resistance. Glass fibers do not undergo creep, which ensures that the product can maintain performance for a long time.
(3) Thermal stability - The melting temperature of fiberglass is above 1000 ℃, which ensures the stability of the fiberglass geogrid in withstanding heat during paving operations.
(4) Compatibility with asphalt mixture - The material coated with fiberglass geogrid in the post-treatment process is designed for asphalt mixture, and each fiber is fully coated, which has high compatibility with asphalt, ensuring that fiberglass geogrid does not isolate from asphalt mixture in the asphalt layer, but is firmly bonded together.
